Yes, you are correct if you answer is Chinese New Year. You must be wondering what some random code I put on the title? Nope, it's not what you think it is, it's just how I name this post. CNY is the abbreviation of Chinese New Year and 2564 is the year based on Chinese calendar count which we celebrated in 2013

6 Little Fellas

Dandelion seeds blowing from stem, Gettyimages
Back with me again my fellow readers! You guys might don't know that my family love animals, yet. I'm telling you know that we do, especially me, my oldest brother and my dad. But you know, just like any other irresponsible kids, I only wanna play with it rather than taking care of it too hahaha... Usually I ask anybody else to do the nursing. S/he might be my maid or driver. Enough with the negativity :P

So, anyway for some of you guys might already know the point that what I'm trying to say behind my latest post (if you're smart enough). I still can't reveal it yet in public but I just wanna say that we have a big back home yard now. Besides wild grass, my dad's chili plant and unknown wild plant, it was still empty untill we decided to buy new addition in form of pet to brisk the lonely backyard

Like I was choked up by excitement, I'm automatically add it in my favorite every time I see ones that I like. There are so many I can't help it until I've to stop on page 5 or there will be too much to post. I'm having dilemma already which one to choose.

My First Award

Yup, you read it right! I got my first award ever since 4 years of blogging. Sounds lame? But I don't care! Haha... One thing for sure, I'm so happy and proud and being thankful! Hard work really payed off! Yay!

Well, I just wanna say a bunch of thank you to the giver. She's my fellow blogger and she's my senior at senior high school also. She's none other than Stephanie from Stephanie's Notebook. She's lovable, generous and very supportive not to mention she has this damn cool blog! No wonder, she's blessed by living her dream right now. When you have a great place to live with your great husband, great in laws and great future ahead, what else could you ask for, right?! Fairy tale do exist for her, which I'm pretty sure every girl (including me) are so jealous!

Anyway, before you start asking what award that I got, here I give answer to you in picture:

Yeah.... I got Liebster Award for my blog. I have no idea what this is all about but then I stumbled on another picture that might explain it:

As you can see on above picture the explanation about the award plus the rule but I will just skip it and follow the usual rule which is not so much different tho. It also applies to those blogger nominations that I'm about to give the award. I'm gonna stick to the rules like Stephanie's:
  1. Link back to the blogger who awarded you
  2. Put the award on your blog
  3. Present the Liebster Blog Award to the other 5 other blogs (with under 200 followers) that you think deserve it
  4. Let them know you awarded them by leaving a comment on their blog
I found a hard time to decide who are the winner and finally I made the decision. So, here are the nominations:
Stephanie from Stephanie's Notebook
Leticia Seviraneta from Faith, Hope, and Love
Fella Felecia from Hey, Fella
Jennifer Willson from belle vie
Noemi G. Manalang from Noomie Doodles

Go check them out and you'll agree with me that they're such amazingly talented blogger and great as a person also!

That's all for my first blog award and hopefully I can step up my game so I can get more awards in the future
Until my upcoming posts!
xx

Harry Potter In Art

Actually, I'm not a huge fans of Harry Potter since the last time I read the 5th book which is I actually forget when but I'm in love with these amazing Harry Potter artwork beauties ever since I saw it on Gogirl. You know, I can't help but post them on my blog too!
These pictures are part of Harry Potter Tribute Exhibition which happened on 9 July 2011 at Gallery Nucleus, Alhambra-California. The tribute took place just a week before Harry Potter 7 premiere. What can I say?! They're truly masterpieces and I salute to the creators! Awesome!!! Below are just few of those artsy things, I can't post all of them because there are so many and of course I can't tell which one is my favorite too...

So, which one is your favorite or can you recall on your mind what the name of the person or action on the picture is?

This Is The Day

First of all, I guess I have to say sorry for breaking my promise
Because in my previous post I said I'd post something more about dress here

But this one is much more important

In 4 more hours, I'm gonna have my trial thesis (sidang skripsi), don't know what the exact English is but that's what Google translate says
Yes, this is the day
After 4 years struggling in university, finally I've to go through the nerve-racking trial thesis to graduate. There's no way out of it!

And now I'm here wanna say something to motivate myself:
For them who is praying, hoping, putting their faith, supporting, giving spirit, blessing and believing in me. For all of the words "Semangattt, I know you can do it, good luck, keep calm, be focused and don't forget to smile" which has been said through twitter mentions, text messages and Blackberry Messenger. Yes, for everything that's worth and for everything that counts. I'm sure I can do it and graduate!!! :)
Dedicated to: God, my family and my friends

Wish I could write thank you notes to tell how grateful I am and appreciate every single effort that you guys do to me. God bless everyone of you..

Well, I know this is the day that's gonna be one of the best and unforgettable day in my life
I'm reaching the bottom line, you know

So, these are all I can say to you before the time
I'm feeling good and relax currently, it's just because the grace of God

Oh, anyway I'm gonna closing this post with one Bible verse that I got few minutes ago from my friend Stella
Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His power] that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do super abundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams] - Ephesians 3:20
Hope you feel blessed to by the verse!
I'll bring you great news for the next post guys! Just wait for it! :D

This Week

Hi ya guys, I'm back using my blog at blogger!
As I promise I'm gonna update my blog asap, so I guess this is kinda my welcome back post
I'm gonna share to you all about this week, highlight of the week actually
Let's hit it!

First of all, it's been over a month I haven't updated my blog is no other because I have been working on my thesis
Last Friday, I collected the thesis to the faculty staff and took care all the rest of it, like forms and the tuition fees
Now, I'm have more free time but actually deep inside I'm freaking out about the trial which supposed to happen in few weeks ahead
Even though the faculty still hasn't decided when the date is but hey who doesn't get nervous at time like this? Sometimes waiting makes you do.
You know, it's like there's an invisible figure whispering and making sound in your ears that makes you doubt whether you can do it or not, whether you can answer those questions and graduate smoothly or not every time I think about it
Scary huh?
Besides, you know, those examiner always success to find a question gap that sometimes never ever come across your mind and then it brings you down. That's what scary me the most...
I know I've to keep my faith, that's why I keep praying and I guess I need to start studying the material about what the question would like to be

Here's the cover of my thesis:

Move to the second highlight of the week

Today, I watched Flying Trapeze from Las Vegas, USA at Pondok Indah Mall (PIM) 2
And that succeed to AWE me! It was my first time to watch such a circus performance live
It's such a great experience for me to watch them!
I can't help my jaw from dropping and screaming whoaaaa! Hahaha

For you who don't know, here's a bit about them:
They've been performing at PIM 2 since 28 June - 10 July 2011
Monday - Friday at 5 pm, Saturday and Sunday at 4 pm and 7 pm
So, yeah today is their last day here
Too bad for you guys who can't be their witnesses
Not to mention, the performance is free a.k.a no charge needed!

Here some photos that I took:

The stage where they jump around from one trapeze to another
You can see the crowded across, I think PIM use it as those many ways to attract guess to come to the mall and yeah it did it!

One of the performers named Laura, she's pretty and sexy!

Another performer named Arthuro, muscle man and quite handsome tho

Actually, there are 2 other performers that I didn't got a chance to take the pic
The leader named Louis, he's the man who has short cut hair and Papito, the funny "clown" who's wearing wig, purple pants and vest
You can see it on video that I recorded here:
I only recorded it for the first 5 minutes because I won't miss such great performance by looking through my digital camera. I want to see it LIVE with my own eyes!
Oh, anyway sorry for the low quality. I need to reduce the video size so it didn't take so long to upload it

4 of them are like boneless, very flexible like rubber or jelly, jumping around here and there, catching each other arms without any doubt or any mistake, very smooth!
And psssttt... I know one of the secrets to be an expert flying trapeze performer just like them: big butt! It's so much needed for sitting on the trapeze bar without losing balance

So, I'm really2 looking forward to watch this again! Maybe some other time, so dear Malls in Jakarta, please hear me! Please indulge us your loyal guess by organizing such performance! :P

Well, hope you guys enjoy my welcome back post here!
I guess I need to sign off and back with more interesting post to update my blog
So, stay tune! :)

Christmas Gathering

The gift in wrapped in newspaper. Aren't looking like gifts, are they?

The lottery numbers

Picking hands, guess which one is mine?

Us with the gifts we got

Here are food that us ordered, sorry I didn't take notes of the name:

Aline's

Dicki's

Mine

Stella and Juan ordered the same food

Alice's

Yunita's

Saputra's, he ordered green tea cake from Delika too
Well, Secret Recipe has one better

Aida's

The girls in front of the tallest Christmas tree in Indonesia, which is 38 m tall

The girls inside the Christmas tree. Too bad no Santa here... He stayed here only on weekend

8 of us on the photo shoot best spot!

As you can see on pics above, yesterday me and my friends had Christmas gathering at Central Park
So, here's the schedule: We had Christmas dinner (well, it's more like Italian dinner actually) at Hongkong Cafe, we did gift exchange and then took a lot of photos at the Central Park garden

First of all, we ordered food before we exchanged gift
And then, we put all of the gifts on the center of the table and they're numbered
We also wrote down lottery numbers to be picked
One by one we picked the number
And walaaaa... we got our gift!!! My first Christmas gift in this year hahaha
I got a cute snowman doll (you can see it on pics above)
You can see on my Facebook to see the all of the gifts that each of us got
Moving to the food we ordered, IMO they were just so so and quite pricey but the atmosphere was cool!

After a long chit chat at the restaurant, we moved to the garden with the tallest Christmas tree
Just like usual, we took photos and photos!
It was windy and drizzle but it didn't stop us from taking pics! Hahaha

Well, every meeting has to end up right?
So, we end up our night with taking pics on the best photo shoot there

What can I say?
I had a fun, really fun night with you guys
Hope it can be repeated somehow! =D
Of course with a lot more attendance!

By the way, Christmas is getting nearer folks!
Oh-really-can't-wait!
I'm having my stay at home holiday here... poor me but believe me I'm enjoying it tho!

I guess I see you in my upcoming posts!!!

Nanny's Pavillon and Halloween (Boo!)

The name written on the menu

Some of the food that me and my family ordered:
Don't be drooling! Get set! Go!

Me: Smoked Beef Spaghetty

Andreas: Smoked Brisket Spaghetty from My Uncle

Christian: Beef Baked Rice

My Mom: Chicken Baked Rice

My auntie: Mushroom Baked Rice

For my dad, he ordered Kim's Tuna with Rice I just forgot to take a pic of it because he was starving and ate it soon it arrived haha

And here's the dessert:
Hold your slobber (still!)

Blueberry Cheese Roll Pancake

My Grandma Chicken Pesto Waffle

The interior (sorry due to my high level of narcissism)

The shower and tile floor on the wall really resembles a bathroom

The dressing table which some of my friends mistakenly thought that it is in my bedroom

The hanging drawer and the mini blue-stripped towel

The sink complete with the mirror, the napkin, and the liquid soap
I wonder if it's actually working or not

They're some kind of celebrating Halloween so I got a mini black spider cookie as a free gift

I also took a photo with the Jack O' Lantern head scare crow, too bad it didn't give me thrill
Not to mention, the flowery pink lamp cap is also so cute!

Cafe Sweets by Jacqueline Bastiaan which located near Nanny's Pavillon
I directly snap a pic soon as I looked at the name, it is so ME! :P
FYI, just like its name it sells sweets!

On Sunday 31st October 2010 (yea on Halloween) afternoon me and my family went to Pacific Place to have very late lunch
At first, my bro wanted to treat us all at Spaghetty House but it's already closed there so we changed plan to have lunch at Nanny's Pavillon soon when we passing by the restaurant
The interior is oh-so-eye catching! It's bathroom themed (as you can see on pics above)
Too bad it doesn't have a bath tube, I'm sure it'll become more interesting if they have one!

So, you know what happened to me when I see cute things right?
Yup, my narcissism radar is mode on suddenly! Hahaha...

Moving on to the food, well what can I say, it's just so so
But if I have to choose, my favorite will be Kim's Tuna with Rice that my dad ordered and I kinda love the dessert too!
The price is also kinda expensive but still reachable!
After all it's worth to try guys!

Not in Pacific Place only but Nanny's Pavillon do have branches in some locations in Jakarta and Bandung with different themes of interior
How interesting it is, right?! Just visit Nanny's Pavillon twitter for more info

And at night, I watched Mystery 360: Ghosts Behind Bars in National Geographic Channel
It's a show that discuss about ghost apparition in a Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia, Pensylvania
It's more likely to be the scariest prison on Earth because of its sad history

On that show, those expert scientists in different knowledge are gathered with high-tech equipment (which made my jaw dropping) trying to proof ghost apparition scientifically
And all of the reasons found was really make sense and logic! But in the end there are some things that they (still) can't explain about the thing why ghosts is like this and that

For a coward person who scares of ghost, I really recommend to watch the show, at least they'll believe more that ghost isn't exist!

I know it's kinda late but I guess that's my way to celebrate Halloween!
Of course without weird, funny, silly costumes and trick or treating but still it is about ghost

Well, enough said for today
Until next posts folks! =)
